HOW TO USE THE BP ANEROID YUWELL
Inspect the device prior to usage. Ensure the needle aligns with the “0” mark. Upon pressing the ball, observe the needle’s swift response, promptly returning to “0”.
Position your arm comfortably on a table, ensuring it is at the same height as your heart. If necessary, use a soft pad for adjustment.
Smoothly flatten the arm cuff and align the midpoint of the airbag with the brachial artery. Leave a 2-3 centimeter gap between the bottom of the cuff and the elbow joint. Avoid securing the arm too tightly for accuracy.
Insert the stethoscope’s diaphragm into the brachial artery.
Slowly inflate the cuff while listening. Inflate until the pulse sounds disappear, then pump to a pressure of 2.5kPa-4kPa (20mmHg-30mmHg).
Upon ceasing inflation, release the air gradually at a rate of 0.3kPa-0.6kPa (2mmHg-4mmHg) per second. Observe the needle’s gradual descent.
When the first pulse sound is heard during deflation, note the pressure reading as systolic pressure. When the pulse sounds transition to a muffled disappearance, record the pressure reading as diastolic pressure.
Repeat the blood pressure measurement 2-3 times for an average value.
Utilize the metal hook on the cuff’s back for easy reading. The nylon button on the cuff aids in convenient operation.
